How much do you charge for your executive resume writing service?

The costs for our unique resume writing packages represent value for money and are based on the time it takes to craft an outstanding resume that will assist you get that all-important interview and hopefully result in your being offered the position you are seeking.

What is the process you undertake to write/update a resume?

On receipt of payment we email you and request that you send us your current resume, any supporting documents and a list of types of positions you are looking for. If you don’t have an existing resume, we send you our proprietary resume template in MS Word format via email, to enable you to provide information about your career. You then provide us the information requested in the template and send it back by email. This document then becomes your ‘existing’ resume.

Our resume writing process is conducted mostly via email, and phone or Skype when required. Resumes Australia’s unique resume writing process has been designed with the busy executive in mind. You don’t need to make appointments for personal visits or extended phone consultations during business hours. You decide when you want to allocate the time to provide the input we need.

Once we receive your resume, we overhaul it to produce a first draft. Your current information is re-worked, organised and formatted to ensure that the contents are presented in the best possible way.

Our lead resume writer then returns the first draft to you, and asks probing questions to provide additional information about your experience, expertise, achievements, and the challenges and issues you have faced. This enables the writer to ensure your resume contains important and valuable information that may be lacking in your existing resume.

Your responses will then be re-worked, edited and integrated into the second draft of your document. This process goes back and forth via email between you and the resume writer until the final product is agreed upon. We present the final results to you, and ensure that you are 100% satisfied before both parties sign-off.

How do I work with the resume writer?

We conduct our resume writing process primarily via email, so all information provided is interpreted accurately and professionally incorporated into your resume. For busy executives we have found it can often be very difficult to speak whilst in a work environment, due to confidentiality and privacy considerations. Communicating via email eliminates these issues, and allows you to respond to our questions at your convenience. We continue to work with you until you are 100% satisfied.

How long does it take to get a resume completed?

Generally our resume writing services are completed within 10 business days of booking and payment. However this service time is highly dependent on the client responding to all emails in a timely manner, and returning the first and second draft resumes without delay.

I need my resume urgently for a job application deadline this week – how can you help me?
We recommend that you normally allow 10 business days for the entire resume writing process. However, if you need to submit an application urgently, we have a "need it now" resume service which can be accessed via: Fast Resumes

The cost is $880 including GST for fast turnaround (minimum 48 hours), but requires a commitment on your behalf to answer emails and provide input in a timely fashion, in order to meet the quick timeframes.

How do I purchase Resumes Australia products and services?

You visit the Resumes Australia Online Shop and select the product or service that is most suitable for you, then purchase it using the secure PayPal link and following the simple online instructions. Once we receive conformation of your purchase from PayPal, we acknowledge your payment and proceed from there.

What location or countries do you provide your services in?

As we offer a virtual service, we can work with clients based anywhere in the world. Location is not an issue or hindrance to our service.

Is there any way I can get some support to identify the issues in my current resume?

Yes, we provide a Complimentary Resume Assessment. You may submit your resume to us and we will provide feedback which will highlight the areas of your resume that could do with some improvement. To take advantage of the Complimentary Assessment, please send your resume to info@resumes-australia.com.au with the subject line “Complimentary Resume Assessment”. We will then review it and email you with our comments and product recommendations.

Does your resume writing service cater to international markets, as I want to apply for a job overseas?

Yes, all of our resume writers are very experienced in writing resumes for the Australian job market, and for jobs overseas, i.e., United States, Asia, New Zealand.

Can you send me through a sample of your resumes?

All our resumes are confidential, and as I am sure you can understand, all our samples and templates are our Intellectual Property. If you don’t have a resume we will send you a resume template to complete, once we receive payment.

Can you send me an example of your cover letters?

All cover letters are specifically customised to our clients’ circumstances and must remain confidential. Therefore we don't have examples of cover letters that are publicly available.
